Enjoy the lemony scent and the waxy blooms on this multipurpose cut and come again flower. Our mix includes several different calendula varieties. Calendula can be used in bouquets, interplanted for a trap crop for the flower chomping bugs, and dried for teas or salves. The leaves have a bit of a sticky texture, but you cannot beat their scent! Deadhead to keep the blooms coming!

Growing Tips

  • Direct sowing is recommended 1/4” deep. Plant seeds every 2-3 weeks for continuous blooms.

  • Sow indoors 4-5 weeks before last frost.

  • Watch for germination in 7-14 days.

  • Plant out after last frost.

  • Space about 6” apart in full sun to part shade.

  • They aren’t particularly picky about the soil.

  • 50-55 days to maturity/bloom.

  • Annual flower.
